Amil is a one year old neutered male, who was sadly paralysed due to an accident when he was a kitten. Amil is unable to use his back legs so gets around by using his front legs and dragging. Amil`s paralysis means that he is also incontinent so needs help to empty his bladder. Amil`s family say that he is bright, affectionate, travels well, enjoys his food and interacts happily with other cats and humans. He has not lived with dogs but would be fine with a cat savvy and calm dog.
Amil`s family have been working hard to manage his needs up until now, but they are struggling and feel he could do with a family who have more time at home and more time to provide the care he needs long term.
Amil needs his bladder manually emptied 3 to 4 times per day, he currently does not wear nappies. Amil must be an indoor cat and access to a cat safe garden/area would be an advantage. Amil is used to travelling and a harness and has no other health conditions.
Amil`s current family and HCCF would be at hand to support his new carer in learning to manage Amil`s toileting needs.

Minnosh is a 13 year old blind female cat who is neutered and microchipped.
Minnosh lost her sight in January 2026 and is on long term medication for high blood pressure, but her health is otherwise stable. Minnosh`s family have sadly had a sudden change in circumstances and are looking for a very special home as they can no longer provide the stable environment she needs.
Minnosh`s family say she is a very affectionate, gentle and sensitive cat so would be suited to a quiet home. Minnosh needs a predictable routine and a family who will be able to provide care for an elderly blind cat who is on long term medication. Minnosh will need to be an indoor only cat and currently lives as the only pet in the home, but has lived with another cat previously so would also be suited to a home where she could make a gentle friend or two.
If you feel you could give Minnosh the happy retirement home for her golden years that she deserves, please get in touch via email at heidisccfoundation@outlook.co.uk
