Help Us Build a Safe Forever Sanctuary for Disabled Cats
In February 2026, our lives – and the lives of the animals in our care – were turned upside down.
We were forced to leave our home and sanctuary base after a series of targeted vandalism attacks and threats of further harm. Windows were smashed, we experienced graffiti and damage caused by vehicles, and on one occasion the cats were literally covered in broken glass. We could not risk this escalating and putting our vulnerable animals – and ourselves – in even greater danger.
We made the heart-breaking decision to give up our home and move into temporary accommodation so that the animals could be kept safe. Years of hard work, savings and effort to build up the sanctuary as it was had to be left behind overnight. We have set up a sanctuary fundraiser and the details can be found here –
Our disabled and special needs cats don’t live in rows of pens, they live inside our home where they can be supervised, in adapted spaces designed around their mobility, medical and emotional needs. Your sponsorship helps us provide this intensive, home based care, medication, physio, high quality food and litter, hygiene support and safe outdoor spaces and veterinary treatment where necessary.
Sponsorship is a symbolic way to support the whole sanctuary, your monthly gift is used where it is most needed across all our residents.
