Poppy came to us as an emergency foster in 2018 after being signed over by her previous owners for reasons unknown. Poppy suffered with severe anxiety and was terrified of children, we believe she may have lived with young children previously and had bad experiences and this impacted her confidence.

After just a few days with us Poppy instantly settled in and became part of the family so we decided to adopt her as we just couldn’t let her go! Poppy is a brave, fearless and energetic little dog, far from the timid girl that first came to us. Poppy has also enjoyed learning agility but wasn’t keen on the competition environment so we chose to stick to just fun training instead. Agility really helped with Poppy’s confidence, she loves fetching ball, long walks and snuggling up in her moms snood.
